All leading companies in the sector presents here every 2 years) their new products and innovations at the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. AGRITECHNICA is the meeting place for decision-makers and the leading business marketplace. It is a show-case for the global agricultural engineering industry and a forum for the future of crop production.
Lunch on your own at the fairground.Note: if the Bavarian Beer Hall is open at the fairground, dinner will be eaten there.

Day 4: Monday, November 13th 2023, Berlin (B/-/D)

Wolfsburg – Hanover – Berlin
Full buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the fairground Hanover (approx. 90 km).
Visit again to Agritechnica preview days.

AGRITECHNICA is now the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery!

AGRITECHNICA 2017 was attended by 2,897 exhibitors from 47 countries, including all the world market leaders.

Altogether 1,513 of these exhibitors came from outside Germany. The trade fair was divided into sector groups in 24 halls covering a floor space of over 100 acres and its nearly 200 forum events and specialist conferences allowed a unique exchange of information and opinions. The trade fair attracted around 450,000 visitors from 88 countries, including 106,700 international visitors

Day 5: Tuesday, November 14th 2023 Berlin (B/L/)

After breakfast you will meet your English speaking city guide and start the city tour of Berlin.

Berlin is a capital with a turbulent past. Berlin is more than 775 years old and over the decades, all generations have left their monuments and landmarks in town. The city has risen to the urban and environmental challenges of rebuilding itself. Since the unification Berlin has once again been the capital of Germany. The densest array of sights lies to the east of the Brandenburg Gate. Besides Brandenburg Gate you will see famous spots like Reichs-tag and the Museums Island.

Afternoon free for shopping or leisure.

Overnight: Berlin

Day 6: Wednesday, November 15th 2023 Berlin (B/L/D)

Berlin – Höhenland – Oranienburg – Berlin (approx. 100 km)

After breakfast departure for Höhenland (approx. 60 km) where you will visit a big agricultural cooperative. On 2.000 ha wheat, barley, corn sunflowers, rape peas and beet are cultivated.
Lunch in a local restaurant.

Afternoon proceed on to Oranienburg (approx. 50 km).

Arrival and guided visit of concentration camp Sachsenhausen. Using the remains of buildings and other traces that have been left, the guide illustrates how the camp was built and expanded, the conditions under which the inmates were detained and what their day-to-day lives were like between forced labour and the murderous ac-tions carried out by the SS in the camp. The exhibitions address the reasons victims were persecuted and their various experiences, as well as the actions of the perpetrators.

Day 7: Thursday, November 16th 2023 Munich (B/-/D)

Berlin – Potsdam – Berlin (approx.. 80 km)After breakfast departure for Potsdam. Guided visit of the famous Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam. The location of the palace beside its well-known vineyard terraces and the originally preserved 18th century interior decoration allow visitors to delve into the world of the “philosopher of Sanssouci.” The interiors are characterized by their elegance and stylish displays of grandeur. They are also a clear expression of the king’s love of beautiful sur-roundings – his “Prussian Arcadia.” Lunch on your own. Back to Berlin. Free time for own activities. Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 8: Friday, November 17th 2023 Berlin – Canada

Group Transfer to Berlin International Airport / flight back to Canada or extend your stay in Europe. Tour Ends
